This GIVEAWAY is for USA ONLY!!! – So Sorry to international crafty friends, but this kit was purchased by me, not given, and shipping cost are out of my budget! 😦 Read disclosure at end of blog.
So let’s dive in since I got a little carried away with this kit so there are lots of cards to show you!
For card 1 I took that cute Rain Boots Planter Wafer Die and colored it with my Zig Clean Color brushes in blue, orange and green tones. This die embossed the lines so it was easy to distinguished the lines and be able to color with no problems. I used the sentiment from the “Hello Darling” stamp set and from my stash embellished the card with Nuvo drops.
As with card 1, I also used my watercolor markers to color the boots in orange and yellow tones and the tulips in blue. I did forget to mention that I used Art C Shimmer pen on all the tulips to add shine to them.
For the next card I created my own background pattern with the small flower stamps. This is a great way to use those small stamps and just be free with your design. The “hello spring” leaf is also a stamp that I just fussy cut and added some foam tape for dimension.
I love paper!!! The kit included some beautiful paper by Simple Stories that made for some nice cards that required little skill. These next three cards are around 4×3 and I just used the cut outs in the paper and some Nuvo drops for embellishment for some gift size cards.
Ok so moving on to the next card, I have the little boots again. I added texture by mixing pattern papers that comlimented the colors of the boots. This is one of the avantages of a kit since someone else does the color thinking for you.
The stamp set “Hello Darling” has a good choice of stamps and in it are these adorable planters you can stamp and easily cut and by now you know where the tulips came from, LOL!
This next card is my favorite! I just love red tulips and we all need a cute pair of polka dots boots! 🙂 I just used the dots stamp in the kit and then white heat embossed the dots randomly to fill the body of the boots.
I tell you I just could not stop with this kit. I kept coming up with more cards than I planned to do! Here are a few more cards and even some bookmarks I made using the beautiful papers and stickers by Simple Stories in the kit.
Just when I thought I was done I realized I still hadn’t even used all the stamps in the set. The next card I just the papers and stamped the adorable bike using Gina K. Design inks to add a focal point to the card.
The nice big sentiment in the set was a good focal point for this next card. The sentiment was stamped in ink then clear heat embossed to add shine to it. The background was done by taking the ink and doing some ink smooching :).
All right we are almost at the finish line on this very long post! My apologies but I really enjoy making cards and am always a happy to get a kit that sparks my creativity and I can get the most for my money.
For my last card I tried some ink blending with my distress oxide inks. I was inspired by Kristina Werner’s series on oxide ink blending. This is a great series to watch and learn which inks work best with each other and some tips and tricks on blending. Definitely need to practice some more! I used the leaves stamps and the big “hello darling” stamp which I white heat embossed for a one layer card.
WOW, finally done! Thank you for stopping by and sticking to the end! Links for the individual items are below and remember using the affiliated links come at no extra cost to you! OH and don’t forget to enter the GIVEAWAY!!!

Oh WOW. What a FANTASTIC range of cards I really do love them all from The wellies and tulips (one of my favourite flowers too) to the colours on the last blended card. I have to ask:-the last card you say you stamped The design over the blended inks but to me they all look die cuts! How do you use embossing powder to make the leaves look like that? They really look great.
Thankyou in advance and Thankyou for sharing your great work. (P.S do you have videos of all these cards
