Hello and welcome back!

Today I have the rest of the cards I created with the September 2018 Simon Says Card Kit.  If you want to see my previous post please click here to see cards 1 through 5 I created with this kit.

So lets get started with card 6 which was inspired by Kristina Werner, who used one color to create a card by just changing the shade of the color.  Her video is fantastic and she’s really talented I will add her link at the end of this post.

I used my Prisma color pencils and found a complimentary blue card stock from Cricut to add a very nice pop of color to this card. I really wanted to showcase the hair of this mermaid by concentrating my coloring to it.

On card 7 I kept my theme with the same technique as the one above but in this case I used black as my main color and carried it from there in different tones on the rest of the card.  I did add some shimmer and glossiness to the hair which it was not quite captured on the picture but gave the card a nice look.

And next is another one of these cuties with the same technique.  Yes I know but I really loved the look!  Here we are using red as the color to showcase her hair with.

"Behind every great crafter...Is a huge pile of craft supplies" -JoAnn   Cheeky but true! I love craft supplies as much if not more than trashy paranormal romance novels. I felt it was time to get down to business and actually use all these craft supplies and make pretty things. Would I be successful? Who knows! But now one will be able to accuse me of not giving it all I got. Which is the reason I started this blog, to share my crafting adventures (or most likely mistakes) with the Internet.   Sad but hey I don't have much of a social life and my husband isn't very interested in hearing about crafts! He's much more interested on how the Patriots or Red Sox are doing than listening to me talk about stamps, cardstock and die cutting.   Paper crafting as you will see is my first crafting passion but as any decent crafter would tell you is impossible not to dabble on all other kind of crafting experiments, hence the name wondering mindfield. So look around and hopefully I will inspire you to try something new, make some "creative" mistakes and relax while creating something "pretty." Thank you for visiting and come back soon!
