Hello and Welcome!
So as I said before this month of July is all about catching up with some of those kits I’ve been stashing away, they must see the light! Yes, I might have a hoarding problem but I’m trying to break the cycle…I’m entering my own “card kit making” rehab, lol!
So here are the cards created with the March 2018 Simon Says Stamps “Choose Joy” kit. This another amazing kit with some fantastic papers! Did I mention I love paper! 🙂 One thing you will notice with this kit is that the paper inspired me so much that I barely used the stamp set in it. It can happen when you have such great paper to play with.
Card 1: This kit had lots of great stickers that I was able to used as focal points for a simple and easy card.

Card 2: This was so quick to make is amazing it came out this pretty! The hello is from the sheet of stickers and the sentiment “smiles” was a sticker as well, I just put some foam tape on the back to add a little dimension.

Card 3: The combination of stickers and paper on this kit really made it possible to create this card with no effort. Playing with all of these patterns is a great way for any beginner to create beautiful looking cards.

Decorating the inside of these cards gave me the opportunity to use the small stickers and sentiments in the stamp set.
Card 4: Having a small selection of frames die I feel is a great investment for your craft essentials. They can add so much interest and just that touch of something, something that makes the card special.

Card 5: Kraft card stock is one of my favorite card bases and I reach out it often. I just love how well if goes with so many colors and it adds so much to a simple card that was created using pieces of paper and stickers!
Card 6: The kit came with ivory card bases that looked lovely with the paper and embellishments.

Card 7: For this card simplicity worked!

A small sentiment gave plenty of room to write a special message.
Well, I will come back with another post to show the rest of the casrds I created. A good pack of papers can really make you feel like a professional! My respect and admiration to those who work hard to put patterns and colors together. I tell you I would stink at that job. The designers do all the work and I just get to play with their creations.
I hope you found some ideas and inspirations and come back and visit again soon. Take care and nourish your creative soul!
