Hello and thank you for stopping by!

Still on the card kit kick!  I tell you these suckers can be challenging and I find the Stampin’up Paper Pumpkin are really great to assemble but challenging to come up with alternatives.  Which of course just makes me more determined to try and come up with as many variations as I can using as much as possible from the kit.Flora and Flutter December 2017 SUP Kit

For more information on this kit click here for my previous post on Stampin’up Paper Pumpkin Kits.  Until May 2018 you can get the first two months at 50% off using their code SAVEFIFTY0418.  Stampin’ up also has videos for each kit showing you how to assemble the cards or crafts for the kit on their YouTube channel.

Their video will show all the contents and how to assemble this kit.  They have all the tutorials for their kits for easy access and the kit includes all your need to create the monthly kit.

The cards I’m about to show you are alternatives to the ones the kit was made for, so remember to think outside the box!  Hope you get inspired!

Card 1: I made these cards using the instructions in the kit. I added some clear Nuvo Drops on leaves (not included on the kit).  But I thought it would be cute and add a little extra something.

Card 2: I used a kraft color card base from my stash and fuzzy cut the leaves, flowers, and butterflies from the card cut outs to create my own focal point in this card.

Card 3:  Repeat stamping of small images can add a great back drop for your card.  A few embellishments and voila!

Card 4:  These kits are designed to take the guess work, which makes them great for beginners. All the elements can be interchangeable and a new look achieved. The butterflies were all stamped and then fuzzy cut.

Card 5: For this card I assemble the top as instructed in the kit and then attached to my own embossed card base. When assembling as directed I just added some sequins and a piece of acetate to create a shaker card.

I like the small stamp set on this kit and specially the butterflies which I plan to keep for future use.  Please visit the Stampin’ up site and licate your nearest demonstrator for more information on this kit.

Have a great day, stay safe and be kind!

"Behind every great crafter...Is a huge pile of craft supplies" -JoAnn   Cheeky but true! I love craft supplies as much if not more than trashy paranormal romance novels. I felt it was time to get down to business and actually use all these craft supplies and make pretty things. Would I be successful? Who knows! But now one will be able to accuse me of not giving it all I got. Which is the reason I started this blog, to share my crafting adventures (or most likely mistakes) with the Internet.   Sad but hey I don't have much of a social life and my husband isn't very interested in hearing about crafts! He's much more interested on how the Patriots or Red Sox are doing than listening to me talk about stamps, cardstock and die cutting.   Paper crafting as you will see is my first crafting passion but as any decent crafter would tell you is impossible not to dabble on all other kind of crafting experiments, hence the name wondering mindfield. So look around and hopefully I will inspire you to try something new, make some "creative" mistakes and relax while creating something "pretty." Thank you for visiting and come back soon!
