Hello again and welcome!

I have part 2 for you on my 15 cards created using the Simon Says Stamps January 2018 Card Kit.  I really enjoyed this kit and the inspiration kept on coming.  I have gotten this kit before but I must say in the past few months Simon Says have up their game with their recent kits.

As I said before I just added some card bases, clear embossing powder, and a few sequins to be able to come up with more cards.  This kit was well stocked and didn’t require too many extra supplies.  Hope you find some ideas and get inspired…remember you don’t need a kit to be inspired, just some inspiration and creativity!

Card 8: The stamp set had the solid and stitched outline of the heart giving you a great way to decorate a simple one layered card with some inks and embossing powder. This stamp set is still available at SSS, see link at end of the post.

Card 9: The inspiration was from a card I received where it was in the shape of a pocket. The card on the right goes inside the pocket.

Card 10:  I tend to struggle with stickers, but adding this cute little puffy heart kept this card fun and cute.  Background was created with black ink and the “xoxo” stamp.

Card 11: Granted not my most favorite but is a good way to use the cutouts and scraps I had.  🙂

Card 12:  This is one my favorite techniques to use my scraps.  Just take strips and create your own custom background for my card.  I glued the strips to card stock then cut out the 4 x 5 1/4 square for my focal point and the background is done with minimal supplies!

Card 13 and 14:  Here on these card I decided to draw inspiration from my Mixed Media adventures and apply the same technique of layering to create my own focal point using again all those scraps still left!

Card 15: This was very simple yet in real life it was vibrant and colorful and a perfect card to give to either a man or woman.IMG_2667

Well that is it for this kit and I already have moved to the next kit from my bog stash of kits I’ve had no time to tacke until now. There’s just not enough days in the week for creating. 🙂

Thank you for visiting, stay safe and always be kind…we needed more that ever!

"Behind every great crafter...Is a huge pile of craft supplies" -JoAnn   Cheeky but true! I love craft supplies as much if not more than trashy paranormal romance novels. I felt it was time to get down to business and actually use all these craft supplies and make pretty things. Would I be successful? Who knows! But now one will be able to accuse me of not giving it all I got. Which is the reason I started this blog, to share my crafting adventures (or most likely mistakes) with the Internet.   Sad but hey I don't have much of a social life and my husband isn't very interested in hearing about crafts! He's much more interested on how the Patriots or Red Sox are doing than listening to me talk about stamps, cardstock and die cutting.   Paper crafting as you will see is my first crafting passion but as any decent crafter would tell you is impossible not to dabble on all other kind of crafting experiments, hence the name wondering mindfield. So look around and hopefully I will inspire you to try something new, make some "creative" mistakes and relax while creating something "pretty." Thank you for visiting and come back soon!
