Hello!  Welcome to my corner of the Internet!

I have several card kits and UK magazine packets in my basket stash that have been recently overflowing therefore screaming at me to pay them some attention!  So I started with Simon Says October 2017 Card kit.

This kit is no longer for sale but at the end of this post I have added the links for some of the products that were included in the kit.  I mainly used “very vanilla” and “smoky slate” card stocks from Stampin’up® as my bases but any good quality card stock will also work.

This paper was very easy to work with since it lends itself to great design.  the wafer die was a little tricky to glue because is so delicate and thin. I added Nuvo drop to the center of the flower

The colors on this set coordinated nicely and that even the scraps were useful.  Whe using a kit I try to used as much paper as is available in the kit and when I run out of ideas for my layouts and hit Pinterest for some inspiration.  If you search for card sketches or lay outs you can find a world of inspiration.

On the above cards on the left I used the sentiments by themselves and then stacked them to make the card on the right.  Mixing and matching stamp sets, specially sentiments, gives you a lot versatility with your stamp supplies. The brush strokes on this stamp set are useful and fun to use on your cards and even on your mixed media projects.

The one supply on this kit I really loved and plan on using nad keeping on my supplies is the “steel navy” embossing powder by Simon Says.  This is a beautiful embossing powder with a shine that made the sentiments stand out.  The pictures don’t show how really pretty this embossing powder is and it coordinates beautifully with thses papers.

Well I hope you find some inspiration and I thank you for visiting my little corner of the world. Oh and by the way this is all that was left of the papers on the this kit:

Take care and keep creating!

"Behind every great crafter...Is a huge pile of craft supplies" -JoAnn   Cheeky but true! I love craft supplies as much if not more than trashy paranormal romance novels. I felt it was time to get down to business and actually use all these craft supplies and make pretty things. Would I be successful? Who knows! But now one will be able to accuse me of not giving it all I got. Which is the reason I started this blog, to share my crafting adventures (or most likely mistakes) with the Internet.   Sad but hey I don't have much of a social life and my husband isn't very interested in hearing about crafts! He's much more interested on how the Patriots or Red Sox are doing than listening to me talk about stamps, cardstock and die cutting.   Paper crafting as you will see is my first crafting passion but as any decent crafter would tell you is impossible not to dabble on all other kind of crafting experiments, hence the name wondering mindfield. So look around and hopefully I will inspire you to try something new, make some "creative" mistakes and relax while creating something "pretty." Thank you for visiting and come back soon!
