Hello and Welcome!
It’s been so long I don’t even know what to say! Time is so fluid and passes by so quickly. Many things have been happening lately some sad others good that I haven’t been creating much and honestly my energy level has been put to the test. Never mind my creative “mojo” has been in a block for quite a while.
The good news is that I think is coming back slowly but surely! I just need to make time and let the stress and sadness be washed away! So we can start by showing some pictures of cards a made a couple of months ago and did not get a chance to post.
These cards were all created using a paper pack that came as a freebie on one of those great UK magazines you see at Joann’s or Barnes and Nobles. Honestly I bought this quite a few months ago and just got around to using it recently.
I find they are great for beginners and when you are having a hard time coming up with creative ideas. All the paper and stamps coordinates and by adding a couple of other embellishments you can create an assortment of very cards for your stash.
For the following card I embossed the card stock with an embossing folder by Darice to add texture and background to what otherwise would have been just plain white card stock.
For the following card I used the butterfly stamp and colored withe Tombow markers and then used my Spectrum Noir glitter brush to add a little shimmer.
Here are the rest of the cards made by just coordinating the patter and the tags and papers all came in the kit.
One final note I draw inspiration from the booklet that came with the papers as well as just laying out the elements until I had a layout I liked.
Well hope to come back soon now that the groove is back and I hope you got some inspiration from my crafty journey. As I tell myself often, “Nourish your mind and soul with some creative adventures.”
Take care
Connie
